TRUE STITCHES

The concept behind True Stitches first began back in the early 80’s when I needed a name for my custom clothing and knitwear. From these roots it has grown.

Over the years, True Stitches followed me as I picked up various skills and knowledge from all kinds of disparate areas: I went to art school, trained as an Art Therapist, and established a career as an internationally renowned artist.

True Stitches represents a continuous thread that connects different parts of my life to a common theme: Make the world a better place by helping people be creative.

Recently, the True Stitches ethos solidified into a business model making and selling bags from recycled cloth. I also continue to conduct Art Therapy sessions and organize sewing related community building events under the same name. I hope you enjoy my work.
